I’ve crafted a personal, intimate, collaborative, and expertly guided experience where your pet is the star of the show, and you get keepsakes that last a lifetime. Dog, cat, and anything you call your companion are welcome here.

The Investment

Your Session Fee Includes:

  • In-person Consultation

  • Meet and greet with your pet

  • Pre-Session Planning

  • Custom color palette designed for you and your pet’s session

  • Photo session at your pet’s pace (approximately 2 hours)

  • In-person image reveal

  • 8×10 mounted print of your choice with accompanying digital high resolution file

Cost: $500

All additional images and products are purchased separately, as part of a collection, or a la carte. A la carte images and prints start at $250, and a la carte wall art starts at $600. Collections start at $1,200.

Here’s How It Works

Booking Call

Once you submit your online inquiry, I will reach out to you to schedule a booking call. This is where we get to know each other, gush about your pet, go over the details, and make sure we are a good fit. If we decide to move forward, I will send you a link to pay your deposit and sign your contract. Once received, you’re in!

Consult and Meet and Greet

This is where I meet you and your pet in person, and we create your photo session plan together. I create and show you a mood board tailored just to you, learn everything about your pet, and come up with a game plan to deliver the best shoot possible of your furry star. I also assess your home’s space and determine the best place to have your shoot. Shoots may also take place at the Companion and Co Home studio. Ideal location is determined at this stage and time.

Photo Session

This is where the magic happens! I always begin by letting the pet get comfortable and acquainted with myself and my equipment. Shoots are never timed, because each animal is different. The average time a session takes is approximately 2 hours.

Image Reveal

Approximately 1 week after your session, we will meet again for you photo reveal appointment. This is where we look at all the sweet images captured, and you decide which collections or products feel right. Though hard to narrow down from all the amazing photos, I will help guide you in choosing whatever images are right for you!

Your Questions, Answered

  • Absolutely! As a pet photographer, I know how to work with dogs and cats to capture beautiful images. I’ve spent time learning dog and cat body language, respect their boundaries, and use a variety of tools and techniques to produce beautiful, authentic images.

  • During our consult, I discuss with you in-depth about your dog and their behaviors, so I can make the best plan possible to ensure a successful, fun, and stress-free shoot. If we are unable to continue your session on the photoshoot day your deposit will be credited toward a reshoot.

  • During your consult, I discuss your pet in-depth to craft the best plan to ensure your photo session is fun and stress free for you and your pet. Every pet is different, so my approach is tailored to each specific pet and their family. I also meet your pet in person during our consult, so they have a chance to meet me and some of my equipment.

    During the photo shoot, we go at the pace of your pet. I let them get completely comfortable before we begin and start shooting. I do not time my sessions, which allows every pet to go at their own pace. Heightened anxiety and fear doesn’t escalate, because I don’t start until they are at ease. Any fear and anxiety doesn’t escalate, because I stop the session before it does. I read the nuances of dog and cat body language to assess how they are feeling and reacting to the session.

  • Photoshoots either happen at your home, or my home studio. I most often travel to clients for the ease and comfort of the pet! Especially cats. This is included in my service at no extra cost. For highly territorial dogs, traveling to my home studio is often recommended and chosen.

  • Yes! Payment plan agreements can be discussed during the image reveal session.
